Annual Campaign

Each spring, the Foundation conducts an organized fund-raising appeal, contacting community leaders, businesses, former students, friends of the district and anyone else who wishes to support the Foundation's efforts. The initiative is supported by generous donations of time from Foundation members, district staff, parents and other volunteers.

Parkway Gym Renovation

2012 Annual Campaign to Focus on Renovation of Parkway Gymnasium

The District Foundation announced plans to upgrade and update the Parkway gym and stage areas. Major funding will come from this year's Annual Campaign, which kicks off in April.

Enhancements under consideration include:

New flooring both for the gym and stage
High efficiency lighting fixtures
Remodeling of stage storage area
Complete repainting, possibly with a specific motif / theme
New stage lighting and controls, sound system and curtain

The Foundation is expected to set a fundraising goal in support of the renovation at its April 19th Board meeting.

You are encouraged to seek out a Foundation trustee with your questions regarding this year’s campaign and with any ideas for fundraising you may have.

Your input on the gymnasium/stage remodeling is welcome…. And your financial support will be necessary!

Expect to see more details about the project during the Foundation’s official Annual Campaign period to be kicked off in April. Mailings, presentations and online displays will be forthcoming.
