The Glendale-River Hills School District will have an operations referendum on the Nov. 4 ballot.
Next information session: Monday, Oct. 27th at Glen Hills
What will be the cost to property owners of a passed referendum?
Because the District’s 2007 building referendum comes off the property tax bills in 2018-19, at the end of the proposed 5-year referendum, the owner of a $200,000 home in the District would actually see a decrease of $11.62 on their 2019-20 property tax
Projected property taxes on a $200,000 home:
2014-15 = $1437.25 (current tax year)
2015-16 = $1485.62 (1st tax bill with new referendum)
2016-17 = $1487.71
2017-18 = $1489.48
2018-19 = $1425.67
2019-20 = $1425.63 (last tax bill with new referendum)
Net Decrease = $11.62 (from 2014-15 to 2019-20)
