On Tuesday, September 15th, the school board approved the hiring of Dr. Elliott Moeser, as the interim superintendent. Dr. Moeser will begin working in the district on October 7th and will be working directly with Larry Smalley for a couple of weeks to ensure a smooth transition. Here is a personal message from Dr. Moeser:

Parents, Guardians and Community Members:

I am pleased to be back working in the schools in the Glendale/River Hills community. My career includes 37 years as a Superintendent of Schools, 17 of which were as the Superintendent of Schools for the Nicolet High School District. I will be retiring as an Associate Professor in Educational Administration at Concordia University Wisconsin on October 6, 2020 and will begin my new duties as the Interim Superintendent on October 7th. My wife and I have been residents of Glendale for 30 years. My three sons and one of my daughter-in-laws are all graduates of Glen Hills and Nicolet High School.

I would like to thank the School Board for the confidence they have shown in me. I also appreciate the professionalism and assistance Superintendent Larry Smalley has shown me during the transition period. I have high expectations for all of our students and look forward to working as a team with the outstanding Glendale/River Hills staff and faculty. I welcome the opportunity to once again serve the Glendale/River Hills community.

Elliott Moeser, Ph.D.
