Summer Academy

Is your student looking for something fun and exciting to do this summer? Current K4-7th grade students are invited to participate in this year’s Summer Academy program. Summer Academy is a five week program, taking place June 24th through July 25th, 2024. Classes are scheduled from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Thursday. Please note, there will be no classes on Thursday, July 4th.

Cost of Program

Summer Academy is a free, optional program for K4-7th grade students currently enrolled in our District. This program is also free for residents who live within District boundaries, but are not currently enrolled in our District.

For students who do not attend school in our District, nor live within District boundaries, the cost of the Summer Academy program is $600 per student. Fees need to be paid before selecting classes. Fees that are not paid by May 15th will result in revocation of Summer Academy enrollment.

Courses & Class Sizes

Please view the Course Catalog to preview the courses that are being offered this summer. You can also view courses by grade level/period here. The specific grade levels associated with these courses are aligned with student grade levels from the current 2023-2024 school year. If your student received an Invitation Only letter, you should enroll them in the invitation only classes based on the grade they are currently in.

For the health and safety of all students, Summer Academy classes are capped at 24 students per class. For classes that serve multiple grade levels (ie. a class designed for both 1st and 2nd grade students) half of the seats are designated for one grade level, and half of the seats are designated for the other grade level.

Program Registration

Registration for Summer Academy opens on Wednesday, May 1st at 4:00 pm, and closes on Wednesday, May 15th at 4:00 pm.
