Dear Glendale-River Hills Families and Caregivers,
As we prepare for the 2026–2027 school year, we want to remind all families of the annual requirement to verify residency and update student information.
In accordance with state and federal law, the Glendale-River Hills School District provides tuition-free education to students age four and older who reside within district boundaries or are accepted through the Wisconsin Public School Open Enrollment Program.
Annual Online Verification (Required)
Before the start of each school year, all families must complete Online Verification through the
Infinite Campus Portal. This includes:
- Reviewing and updating student and family information
- Uploading required proof of residency documents
- Be careful not to start a “new student enrollment.” Verification must be done in the IC Parent Portal under your existing account.
Please complete this process by June 30, 2026.
Residency Definition
A child’s residence is the location where they sleep on school nights. In most cases, this is the residence of a parent or legal guardian. If a student is not living with a parent or guardian, additional documentation will be required. Please contact the district office for guidance.
Proof of Residency Requirements
All families (including Open Enrollment families) must upload two documents:
First Proof of Residency (one of the following):

Homeowners: Current property tax bill (mortgage statements are not accepted)

Current Lease: Signed lease with leasing agent contact information visible
- If a parent/guardian is not listed on the lease, a letter from the landlord or management company confirming residency is required

Month-to-Month Lease: Verification letter from the leasing agent must be provided
Second Proof of Residency (required for all):
- A utility bill (e.g., WE Energies or water bill) dated within the last 30 days
- The bill must include the parent/guardian’s name and address and match the residency information provided
